Wow, it's hard to believe that the first half of our 2nd semester at Sloan has gone by so quickly! After weeks of meetings, late night calls with our client, and bi-weekly China lab classes, our team is ready to fly out of town early tomorrow morning en route to BEIJING, CHINA! We have a great team of four 1st year Sloanies -- Mael Bredeche, Tom DeFalco and Nadir Vissanjy -- all of whom I am thrilled to be working and traveling with. We will be spending two weeks onsite working with our client, an IT consulting company, to solve one of their key strategic challenges.
Over the next few weeks, I will be contributing to the 2014 China and India Lab Blog to discuss our team's immersion experience working closely with a Chinese firm, our adventures sightseeing and taking in the culture in Beijing, and whatever other exciting tidbits come our way! I will post pictures, anecdotes, an "expression of the week".
The first "expression of the week" is: 欢迎到北京 - "huan ying ni dao bei jing". It means "Welcome to Beijing!"
Ok, I'm off to our final China Lab class before we head out tomorrow morning.
Signing off from Boston. See you in Beijing!
